How does it charge?
The Pixela charges over USB-C, and a Type-C charging cable is included in the box. A full charge takes about 60 minutes and gives you roughly 90 minutes of continuous recording.
Does it come with an SD card?
A memory card is not included, but you can add one right on this page — we stock 8GB, 16GB and 32GB MicroSD cards. The camera takes MicroSD cards up to 128GB; a Class 10 / U1 card or faster is best for smooth 720P capture. Just slide it into the side slot before your first shoot.
What can it actually record?
It records 720P HD video and takes stills at 0.3 MP or 1 MP through a real CCD sensor, with a 7.1x–16x optical zoom and a lens angle just under 90° — great for that grainy retro look on everything from selfies to street scenes.
How do I get photos off the camera?
Pop out the MicroSD card and use any card reader, or connect the camera directly with the USB-C cable to pull files onto your phone or computer.
Is it really keychain-sized?
Yes — it weighs about 28g with the metal keyring clip attached and fits on your keys or a lanyard. The clip is solid alloy, not plastic.
